THE DANUBE WATER CONFERENCE OFFERED NEW PARTNERSHIPS

As a company passionate about the water sector, GFA Consulting Group was thrilled to attend and participate as an exhibitor in the Danube Water Conference “Navigating changing waters” in Vienna from 31 May to 2 June, 2023. It was inspiring to hear about the numerous ongoing initiatives in the water sector and learn about exciting upcoming water projects in the Danube region.

One of the highlights of the event was the chance to connect with a diverse group of water utility representatives. Their wealth of knowledge and experience was as impressive as the abundance of young professionals, engaged in the water sector, who are actively contributing to the development of the region. Their passion and innovative ideas left participants optimistic about the future of the sector.

The remarkable event was organized by the Danube Water Program and implemented by the International Association of Water Supply Companies in the Danube River Catchment Area (IAWD) and World Bank with support from the Austrian Government. It provided an excellent platform for networking, sharing insights, and fostering collaborations. GFA is excited about potential partnerships as a result of the conference as the company remains committed to driving positive change in the water and sanitation sector, and continuing its engagement in the Danube region.
