GFA AND ZIF AGREE ON A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
On the 6th of March 2020, shortly before the lockdown, GFA Managing Director, Anja Desai, and ZIF Head of HR, Sarah Degen-Heinemann, met in Hamburg to renew the cooperation between the two companies and to also agree on a strategic partnership in the field of human resources. "Our business is based on finding the right experts for our highly specialized global projects. In the area of governance, these often take place in conflict and in countries in crisis where ZIF experts are deployed", stated Anja Desai. "So we are fishing in similar waters when it comes to finding talent in the field of rule of law promotion, security sector reform, democratization, etc.", SarahDegen-Heinemann underlined mutual interest in the partnership.
By jointly applying for selected projects along with calls for proposals, GFA and ZIF want to expand the new career options for both; the experts of GFA and the experts from the ZIF Expert Pool. The ambition is to diversify and develop the careers of experts through work in international organizations and their peace operations; as well as within consulting firms in the private sector and related projects.
