GFA Certification supports small rubber farmers in Thailand

GFA Certification supports small rubber farmers in Thailand on their way towards responsible management of their rubber plantations. In cooperation with Weber & Schaer, a Hamburg-based German trader in the natural rubber business for more than 140 years, GFA organizes informative workshops for smallholders and plans to certify the rubber plantations and the supply chains to the European market. In several practice oriented modules farmers learn about SFM in rubber plantations, gain first insights in the certification process and group certification approaches, allowing them to achieve FSC certification for their farms jointly.
