The GFA Consulting Group’s decision to strengthen the Hamburg-Volksdorf location was made along with the owner of GbR Fossredder 12. GbR Fossredder 12 is a group of investors, with which the GFA Consulting Group works closely, that is tightly bound to the traditions of Hamburg’s forest villages.
The building was designed by the Hamburg architects LA KET. The enclosed areas of the new facade, a two-shell masonry construction with red-brown ceramic plates, will perfectly complement the existing mixture of steel and red brick. Transparent areas will be provided by triple-glazed glass.
In accordance with the wishes of the future tenant and in keeping with the style of modern Hamburg-Volksdorf, the GFA Consulting Group headquarters is being built with natural materials and energy-efficiency in mind. The main energy source of the new building is geothermal, which in the summer months will also be used to cool the top floor.
