GFA organized the 4th EU-GCC Business Forum in Oman
On 11 December our EU-GCC Dialogue on Economic Diversification project team welcomed more than 300 EU and GCC stakeholders to the 4th EU-GCC Business Forum. The topic was “Technology as Enabler of Future Growth and Prosperity”. The six panel debates included topics such as women in technology, technology in the manufacturing sector and e-commerce. Regarding the economic diversification process in the GCC, the participants stated, among others that “data is the new oil”, but it needs to be processed in order to be converted into valuable information. Besides the engaging panel debates, several opportunities for future cooperation between EU and GCC-based organization have resulted from the Business Forum.
