SUCCESSFUL PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION: SUBSIDIES FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN KOSOVO (SEEK)

In 2019, MCC/MFK contracted GFA together with HPC International to identify the best technical and financial model to implement energy efficiency measures, and thus decrease energy consumption in Kosovo. The project "Subsidies for Energy Efficiency in Kosovo (SEEK)" focused primarily on the housing and residential sector, including supporting women energy entrepreneurs, and how to make energy installers in Kosovo more competitive. Over a period of three years, we have achieved great results which shall serve as momentum to the government of Kosovo and Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund to continue participating in energy efficiency retrofits.
