SOLAR KITS FOR KIDS IN JORDAN

Posted on 28 Oct, 2020 by Laura Wiehler

Within the EU-funded project Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program in Jordan, REEE II, GFA supports the Children’s Museum of Amman through supplying the children with educational material on energy.

With our latest contribution towards the museum’s great efforts, they produce and design a book that includes a set of comprehensive activities that aim to raise children’s awareness about renewable energy, energy efficiency and the varied applications thereof. Additionally, the museum also develops a do-it-yourself kit for building a solar-lit cardboard house to aid the children’s understanding about renewable energy. This Corona compliant and creative method leverages children’s intuitive curiosities for exploring sustainable solutions.
