Posted on 5 Apr, 2024 by Milica Biller-Sandalj

GFA is implementing the project "Strengthening Women's Economic Empowerment in Rwanda" on behalf of GIZ from March 2024 to December 2025. It aims to address unemployment and underemployment in Rwanda with a special focus on women's empowerment. The project intends to promote gender equality through the provision of specialized services for women in the business development and tourism sectors. Key objectives include building capacity for advocacy, creating business development services tailored to women entrepreneurs, and establishing services for women in the tourism industry. In collaboration with various partners, GFA's Private Sector Development Department (PSD) will design and implement these services, focusing on training, coaching and networking to increase women's economic empowerment and promote sustainable development in Rwanda.
