"The COP27 Climate Change Conference" study provides an overview of the status of international climate negotiations and issues at stake at the COP27 climate change conference. It also addresses the current implementation of the Paris Agreement, the stakeholders in the negotiations and the climate policies of key Parties. This document was provided by the Policy Department for Economic, Scientific and Quality of Life Policies at the request of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI).
Our colleagues Dietram Oppelt and Stefanie Heinemann from HEAT have provided the input to the study among others on the progress on actions under the Montreal Protocol as well as with regard to stakeholder negotiations. HEAT is a company of GFA Group.
