TVET Summer School 2019

From 9-13 September 2019, 16 experts from 12 different countries participated in the first TVET Summer School in Hamburg. The objective of the TVET Summer School was to provide a comprehensive insight into the German dual vocational training system and to discuss the applicability of cooperative training programs in the partner countries. The program consisted of site visits to TVET authorities, institutions as well as companies and vocational schools being in charge of vocational education development and implementation in Hamburg. By the end of the TVET Summer School week in Hamburg, the organisers and participating ex-perts agreed: This professional development program was a success with a high learning outcome. The next step is to convert the high motivation and enthusiasm of all participating experts into a continued learning process and implementation agenda through further collaboration and professional growth in the future.
