Improve basic health services: family planning (DynPASS-PF)
The DynPASS-PF project in Côte dIvoire aims to improve access to quality reproductive health and family planning (FP) services, particularly for young people and adolescents, by addressing limited access to modern contraceptive methods and the uneven availability of services. It strengthens the role of private actors through social marketing and social franchising, supports behaviour change communication campaigns, ensures the availability of affordable contraceptives, and improves service delivery in private clinics. The project also promotes the integration of private sector data into the national health information system (DHIS II), and advocates greater collaboration between the public and private sectors, particularly in relation to subsidised access and regulatory reforms. Overall, it contributes to increased demand for, availability of, and use of FP services, with a focus on sustainability, quality, and the inclusion of young people.
