Inclusive Digital Governance (INDIGO)
GIZ implemented the technical cooperation project E-Governance in Palestine and the MENA Region to promote citizen-centered, inclusive digital governance services in this region with a specific focus on the municipal level.
Within this framework, GFA designed and implemented training-of-trainers programs and webinars to strengthen capacities of citizens in selected municipalities in the West Bank and Gaza. The latter offered co-creative and digital participation opportunities to identify, (re-) design, and prototype e-services that are relevant for selected municipalities and are easily and inclusively accessible for its citizens. Masterclasses such as High-Fidelity-Prototyping and Design Dash for Emergency Planning and Coaching were also offered.
Additionally, a GFA team of experts supported the development of the National Digital Strategy for Local Government and organized a study tour for stakeholders from municipalities, national institutions and the innovative ecosystem in Palestine to visit and experience international best practices regarding citizen-centered service design and innovative participation.
