Posted on 9 Feb, 2022 by Benedict Krüger

GFA is providing waste management consultancy services within the City Climate Finance Gap Fund. The project won by GFA is part of the Gap Fund component implemented by EIB and GIZ with the following objective: Cities in developing countries and emerging economies access finance to implement 1.5 degree compatible climate resilient and low-carbon urban infrastructure projects.

The Gap Fund receives applications for the preparation of climate resilient and low-carbon urban infrastructure projects, in which individual cities apply for technical assistance. These services for the cities are implemented by a consortium between GFA and Resources & Waste Advisory Group and include a broad range of topics such as technical, institutional and legal advice, feasibility studies, economic analyses or training activities.
