The successful applicants of last year’s call for proposals in Tunisia emanated from sectors that include food processing, construction, technology, and the chemical industry. They will collectively receive the financial support of approximately 7 million euros from the Facility Investing for Employment (IFE) to invest in job-creation.

The signing ceremony event took place on 25 November 2021 in Tunis and in attendance were Mr Peter Prügel, German Ambassador, Mrs Echraf Smedhi, Director for international cooperation at the Tunisian Ministry for Industry, Mrs Beate Richter, Director of the KfW Office in Tunis, and Mrs Anke Afflerbach, Managing Director of the Facility Investing for Employment.
