Fragility is on the rise. According to the OECD, over 122 million people worldwide are forcibly displaced today. Funding is under pressure, yet the need for reliable, accountable and context-sensitive delivery has never been greater.

For decades, GFA has worked in fragile environments such as Burkina Faso, Yemen, the DRC and Northern Nigeria. One lesson stands out: effective work in these contexts is not primarily about technical solutions. It is about trust with local partners, communities and donors.
