LEEREFF has been developed to support a wide range of investments related to energy efficiency, renewable energy and green buildings, worth a total credit volume of 80 million Euros. Funds will be dedicated to small and medium enterprises in Lebanon through loans from the European Investment Bank and Agence Française de Développement. The interest rate will  be subsidized by the Banque Du Liban (BDL), which will make all the proceeds available through five local partner banks. A press conference was concluded by a stage signing between BDL and the five Lebanese partner banks: Bank Audi, BLC Bank, Byblos Bank, Fransabank and Societe Generale de Banque au Liban.
