Ukraine lays foundation for the implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union
On 19 June 2019, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, Ivanna Klimpush-Tsintsadze, and the Ambassador of the European Delegation of Ukraine, Mr Hugues Mingarelli, attended the final meeting of the Steering Committee of the EU-funded Association4U - Support to the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union project. The project started in January 2016 and will be completed in mid 2019.
The Vice Prime Minister expressed her gratitude to international partners and the experts involved in the project regarding their efforts related to the development of sustainability in law approximation, legal translation, capacity building, and coordination of European integration and communication. The main objective of the Association4u project has been to strengthen Ukrainian government institutions in their efforts to implement complex state commitments of the EU Association Agreement.
