Cambodia
GIZ, 2018 - 2019
Contract value: 255,099 EUR

The project was part of the larger GIZ "Identification of Poor Households (IDPoor)" program which was implemented together with the Cambodian Ministry of Planning since 2006. This measure in the wider social protection efforts of GIZ faciliateed a review and optimisation of the IDPoor approach. IDPoor was a targeting mechanism for the identification of poor households using interviews coupled with a significant local participatory element. Through the identification, poorer households were provided an active IDPoor Equity Card which entitlesdthem to access various social and pro-poor services in Cambodia. The data collected by IDPoor were used for targeting by a large number of projects and programs of the government as well as non-governmental organisations.
