Modernization of the forest sector (MOSEF)

The project objective was to support the government in promoting local development in the forest sector through joint actions of central and regional institutions and local stakeholders in the context of decentralization and socioeconomic development policies. GFA contributed to the project objective by providing technical assistence to the establishment and maintenance of a municipal cadastre in priority areas. That included the densification of the geodetic reference network, software development and training for cadastral information management in coordination with central government agencies.
