Regional sewerage Ramallah project

The primary objective of the Ramallah Regional Sewerage Project is to make a significant contribution to the environmentally sound and hygienic treatment of wastewater in the Ramallah and Beitunia area, located in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. By focusing on this objective, the project aims to protect water resources, particularly the vital mountain aquifer, which serves as a major source of freshwater in the region. In addition, the project seeks to mitigate health hazards resulting from improper treatment of wastewater discharged into the environment.
