Support of water training centre

The key objective of the project was support to the water sector reform process through the strengthening of the CEMEAU, the former training center for staff of the national water supplier ONEA, and its development into an efficient national vocational training center for the entire water sector. The interventions encompassed capacity building for and professionalization of  CEMEAU management staff to ensure the independent and sustainable management of the center, including financial and commercial aspects. In addition, GFA provided support in curriculum development and the elaboration of new training modules adapted to the training needs of the new actors in the sector as well as ONEA personnel.
