ProSanté: Primary Health Care System and Reproductive Health

The overall objective of this project was to provide the population with access to high-quality health services, in particular, to reduce maternal and child mortality, nutrition deficiency and malnutrition, and to combat communicable and non-communicable diseases. The project therefore aimed to improve the health care of the population, especially sexual and reproductive health and rights services. The main fields of activity were: 

• Improving the quality of health care services in the project region, in particular inclusive and integrated SRHR services;
• Stregthening of SRHR services, through improved cooperation with other sectors and civil society organisations; and
• Supporting the Ministry of Health in steering and strengthening the health system.
