Promotion of Rural Electrification through Renewable Energies (PERER III)
The third phase of PERER is still funded by the German Government (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung - BMZ) and implemented by GIZ in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Hydrocarbons (MoEH) as a key partner. More concretely, PERER III supports legal framework improvements, training, and project development for rural electrification initiatives.
