Sustainable Mobility in Medium-sized Metropolitan Regions (SMMR)

The SMMR project supported four metropolitan regions across Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand in their ambitions to create metropolitan mobility planning procedures. GFA was responsible for the implementation of all project outcomes at the metropolitan and regional level. Its team supported the preparation of problem analyses, recommendations and business plans for mobility pilot measures covering cross-border inter-modal transport, transport modelling using artificial intelligence, and bus route optimizations. GFA also delivered capacity development for inter-municipal, integrated and sustainable transport planning through on-site trainings, regional and international knowledge exchange platforms and study tours.
