Adaptation of agriculture to climate change
The project aims at improving the adaptation of Benin’s agricultural sector to climate change through the sustainable management of natural resources. It focuses on three main areas of work: (1) applying standardized procedures for needs assessment and prioritization at watershed level; (2) ensuring that investments in irrigation infrastructure and sustainable water and soil management are better adapted to the impacts of climate change and, (3) enhancing knowledge and experience of relevant stakeholders and decision makers.
