Contract value: 192,720 EUR

The project falls under the purview of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH’s (GIZ) “Strengthening Public Financial and Economic Management (PFEM)” program in Malawi. Its aim is to enhance the Malawi Revenue Authoritys (MRA) ability to audit transfer-pricing arrangements of multinational companies. The key objective of this initiative is to resolve pending transfer pricing audit cases both effectively and promptly, and to build sustainable professional expertise within the MRA on transfer pricing matters. This encompasses the development of capabilities for the effective and efficient auditing of transfer pricing cases.
