Sustainable critical raw materials scoping study and programme of action

This initiative helps the Philippines advance its mining and critical raw materials (CRM) sector under the Global Gateway strategy. A scoping study assesses the sectors competitiveness and its role in sustainable global supply chains, identifies key cooperation areas and designs a potential EU intervention strategy. The project addresses public policy and regulations, business development, and community engagement while promoting responsible, inclusive, and sustainable practices. Outputs include policy recommendations, stakeholder mapping, and an actionable programme for fostering green growth and responsible mining practices.
