Technical and vocational education and employment for young People (phase 2)
Responsible for project implementation, the Ministry of Vocational Education, Professional Training and Industry (METFPI) delegated its mandate to the National Fund for Learning, Education and Vocational Training (Fonds National d’Apprentissage, de Formation et de Perfectionnement Professionnel, FNAFPP). The objective of the programme is to improve the quality of and access to technical and vocational training.
While the first phase focused on growth centres around Kpalimé, Sokodé, and Tsévié, the second phase will expand the programme’s activities to the regions of Atakpamé, Kara, and Dapaong. In total, seven public and private Centres for Technical and Vocational Training (Établissements de formation technique et professionnelle, EFTP) are being supported. During the second phase, the programme will continue to focus on the agro-sylvo-pastoral sector (agricultural value chain).
