Autonomy of health facilities

The objective of this project was to promote and facilitate the achievement of greater efficiency and quality in health care delivery by developing, piloting and rolling out a model for health facilities’ autonomy. The strategic and technical assistance comprised developing health legislation, establishing a functional Rayon Supervisory Board, developing a quality management system, and raising public awareness about new clinical practices and referral systems. In addition, a baseline, mid-term and final impact evaluation was conducted.
