Contract value: 53,750 EUR

The GIZ Sector Network in Health and Social Protection (SN HeSP), which connects all GIZ health and social protection programs, contracted GFA for the evaluation of the impact of the GIZ digital health projects implemented in Kenya, Bangladesh and Vietnam, to determine whether the improvements were sustained and which lessons could be drawn.

Task 1 consisted of an evalation of the impact and sustainability of digital health related interventions implemented by the GIZ health programs in Kenya, Bangladesh and Vietnam, which ended in 2018, 2016 and 2017 respectively, including desk review and interviews with relevant stakeholders on the ground. Information gathered was about the success of digital health interventions, and changes attributable to digital health interventions.

Task 2 was to develop lessons learned from the analysis, in order to inform strategic direction and programme design of the GIZ Digital Health Portfolio.
