Multi-country
GIZ, 2021 - 2021
Contract value: 53,750 EUR

The GIZ Sector Network Health and Social Protection (SN HeSP), which brings together all GIZ health and social protection programs, contracted GFA to evaluate the impact of GIZ digital health projects implemented in Kenya, Bangladesh and Vietnam to determine whether improvements were sustainable and what lessons could be learned.

Task 1 consisted of an evaluation of the impact and sustainability of digital health-related interventions implemented by the GIZ health programs in Kenya, Bangladesh and Vietnam that ended in 2018, 2016 and 2017, respectively, including a desk review and interviews with relevant stakeholders on the ground. The information gathered was on the success of digital health interventions, as well as changes that can be attributed to digital health interventions.

Task 2 was to develop lessons learned from the analysis to inform the strategic direction and program design of GIZs digital health portfolio.
