Health Sector Policy Support Program
The Technical Assistance to the Health Sector Policy Support Programme (PAPS) aimed at improving the health situation of the population of Burkina Faso. It comprised a sector budget support component and an institutional support component directed at strengthening an array of key functions of the Ministry of Health at central and at decentralized level. One part of the technical assistance was dedicated to monitoring and evaluation and to strengthening key elements of the PNDS to improve the health situation of the population and to implement the plan for HR development financed by PAPS. The TA was expected to contribute to consolidating the leadership of executives of the MoH and the frame of good governance and sector cooperation.
