EU MS Preparedness: Planning, reporting and training programs for health specialists
Togehter with our partners we are developing an European Union(EU)-wide preparedness training program for public health specialists in 27 EU Member States and three countries in the European Economic Area (EEA). In doing this, we are taking into account the different levels of capacities that exist across states and providing capacity building activities that are tailored to the respective national capacities. The virtual training program, hosted by the European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC), will strengthen the EUs capacity to respond stronger to future health and other emergencies. This is being implemented within the frame of the EPIC11 project with a funding base of 5,4 Million EUR from the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) with the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT), Think Modular and GFA as implementing partners.
