Green Initiative

The Green Initiative (GI) supported the development of EE projects and demand side EE investments in industry and in the building sector, which were implemented by SMEs, SME-related ESCOs, and housing associations. The program’s focus was on projects in Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, and the Czech Republic.

Planned assistance included overall implementation support (project identification, pipeline development, marketing and training), energy assessments and project verification. Assignments were implemented according to the needs of the project and those of partner banks.
