Invest for Jobs Sénégal
Invest for Jobs in Senegal is a program funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ. It aims to increase job-creating growth for African and European companies operating in Senegal. The program operates nationwide and is overseen by the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation (MEPC). To achieve its ambitious goals of creating jobs, improving the business climate for investment, and strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs and enterprises, the Invest for Jobs program aims to achieve three main outputs:
- Output 1: Improved conditions for African and European companies to invest in European companies in Senegal by identifying and supporting Senegalese projects with investment potential.
- Output 2: Increasing the efficiency of selected SMEs: Identification of promising Senegalese SMEs and companies with high growth potential as "champions".
- Output 3: Improvement of the business ecosystem in the ICT and agribusiness sectors Expansion and/or improvement of the range of advice and services offered to businesses in the selected sectors or clusters.
GFA contributes to the achievement of Output 3.
