Development of the urban water and sanitation sector

The project aimed at assisting the relevant ministry to improve access to safe water and basic sanitation. GFA experts provided sector stakeholders with advice in investment planning, tariff structure, crisis resilient operations and performance monitoring. They assisted utilities in planning, constructing and operating related infrastructure. A marketing program aimed at improving household sanitation and public health by stimulating private toilet investment and promoting hygiene measures.
