Management of the Jamaica Business Fund (JBF)
The main objective of the Jamaica Business Fund (JBF) was to strengthen private business in Jamaica through commercially and economically viable value chains that can generate direct employment and output growth as well as positive spillover benefits through linkage generation. The JBF supported the upgrading of existing SMEs in specific eligible value chains to improve their productivity and thus increasing their output and sales to medium and larger buyer firms and enhancing the competitiveness of exports and import-competing products.
