The project is embedded in the overall program "Good Governance for more Investment and Employment in the Ivory Coast" with the overall objective of strengthening the integrity, accountability and competitiveness of the public administration in the Ivory Coast.

It provides technical, procedural and organizational support to the Ivorian Anti-Corruption Agency (HABG - Haute Autorité pour la Bonne Gouvernance), the Court of Auditors (Cours des Comptes), the Financial Intelligence Unit (CENTIF - Cellule Nationale de Traitement des Informations Financières), the National Agency for the Regulation of Public Procurement (ANRMP - Agence Nationale de Régulation des Marchés Publics), as well as other relevant administrative structures in the Ivory Coast, the private sector and civil society organizations.

The projects activities are centered on four work packages designed to

  • improving the detection of corruption and economic (white-collar) crime,
  • strengthening the capacity of civil society, state and private actors to implement anti-corruption measures,
  • improving service delivery by relevant administrative structures to promote fair competition and procurement, and
  • strengthen the capacity of the Ivorian Court of Auditors.

GFA provides technical assistance for all four outputs through the provision of on-demand international, regional and national expertise. In a consortium with WINS Consult, our company is aligning its services with the projects results-based approach, implementing the capacity development strategy and thus contributing to the projects objectives and indicators.
