Promotion of sustainable economic development
The GIZ project „Promotion of Sustainable Economic Development“ in the Jalal-Abad region aims at promoting sustainable economic development while taking into account elements of the green economy. This is expected to lead to higher incomes and greater employment in the target areas. The project covers four fields of activities: Value chains, local economic development (LED), access to financial services, and reform policy. The field of activity 3 (LED) aims to support the public sector to manage and lead LED processes, to increase the focus on private sector support, and to establish good quality services for MSMEs and entrepreneurs. In this context, GFA is implementing the work package on capacity building for LED on the municipality level with a focus on supporting value chain development.
