Family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights
GFA implemented component 1 of the program national capacity development for education and training in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). This project was aligned with the national priorities recognizing human resources for health as critical issue to ensure the provision of quality care and achieve improved health, especially for mother and child. The project specific objective was the implementation by the stakeholders of an adequate approach to improve education and training of health staff in the field of SRHR. The impact of the project related to the improvement of maternal and child health and the reduction of unmet need for modern contraceptives.
