Enhancing the relevance and quality of the TVET system
The overall objective of the TVET reform program was to enhance the structure, performance and quality of technical and vocational education and training in Egypt. With the aim to better respond to changing economic and social policies, to contribute to increasing the employability of young people and to support strategies to increase national productivity and competitiveness. This component part of the TVET reform program improved the quality of technical education and training programs to ensure that they are demand-driven and responsive to labour market needs. This project, together with a number of complementary activities, was designed to continue the reform of TVET throughout the country.
