Rural education project - PROEDUC V
The the Rural Education Project V aims at improving the provision of technical education in the diversified middle school cycle. The goal is to expand and improve access to quality education for work and is geared to the needs of the labor market for poor young people, especially indigenous people (between 16 and 18 years of age) in rural areas, by expanding the educational offer in six of the countrys departments: Huehuetenango, Quiché, Alta Verapaz, Baja Verapaz, Chiquimula and Jalapa. The executing agency is the Ministry of Education of Guatemala (MINEDUC).
