Employment in rural areas with focus on youth – Country package Burkina Faso
The Global Project “Rural Employment with a focus on Youth” addresses the core problem that effective models for employment promotion in rural Africa are not yet sufficiently piloted nor institutionalized. Through an advisory and an operational component, containing the four country packages Burkina Faso, Kenia, Malawi and Mozambique, the project aims to improve the training and employment situation of young people in rural areas, using an adapted integrated approach to (rural) employment promotion as a framework for implementation. The country package works along four fields of action: Demand-oriented qualification; strengthening the demand for labor, employment-promoting framework conditions, and transnational innovation and knowledge management.
