Skills for Green Jobs (S4GJ)
The ECOPROFIT program targeted the rise of energy and resource efficiency in small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) accompanied by the corresponding energy cost savings. By combining a standardised joint workshop program with individual advisory through experienced consultants, the general sensitivity for energy efficiency and the networking character was raised, while company-specific needs were addressed in separate meetings and audits. Hence, many companies utilise ECOPROFIT for triggering a development process towards environmental management systems like ISO 14001 or energy management systems according to ISO 50001.
The essential project objective was the implementation of the ECOPROFIT model and network in cooperation with GIZ-S4GJ and regional promoting institutions as a catalyser for capacity development in energy and resource efficiency. Targeted sectors are the automotive and a non-automotive mixed cluster.
