Higher Education Program for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (PERSEREE)

PESEREE II is working in three components: Broadening the offer of Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency training in ISEPs (Institut Supérieur d’Enseignement Professionnel), strengthening the capacities of the Inter-University Masters Degree in Renewable Energy (MIER) network for the implementation of their training program and anchoring measures to strengthen entrepreneurial skills in partner institutions. The objectif of the program is to enhance the cooperation between the MIER universities with the private sector. The main activities are: 

• To support teachers and researchers in strengthening applied research (e.g. organization and implementation of  trainings for teachers in the fields of solar photovoltaic, solar thermal and biomass installations and energy optimization techniques in construction and industry);
• to support partner universities to establish cooperation projects and extend their network in the field of technological innovation and applied research in RE/EE;
• to support innovation and technology transfer of partner universities (e.g. trainings for management staff of universities on the topic of innovation and technology transfer);
• to provide advice on essential equipment, devices, and software for technology transfer to partner universities.
