GIZ, 2020 - 2021
Contract value: 876,420 EUR

The aim of the project is to improve the energy management in Jordan’s water sector. The project operates across the country. Its core lies in embedding a systematic EnMS within the water sector. It creates the necessary basis for decision-making and conditions that will accelerate energy efficiency-aware behavior by all stakeholders across the sector. The project combines energy-related, methodological and process advice to Jordan’s water authority and the three independent statutory water supply companies (WSC) in the country with specific measures to optimize energy management in selected operational units.
