Sustainable Hydropower Program - Accompanying Measures Project (AMP)
The German Government supported the Government of Indonesia in strengthening the power sector, with a focus on renewable energy, through cooperation between KfW and PLN. The objective of the Accompanying Measures Project (AMP) was to improve PLNs capacity in the strategic and sustainable development and implementation of hydropower projects in accordance with international standards. The service was contracted by PLN to a consortium led by the German utility Uniper Kraftwerke, in cooperation with GFA and AF-Consult, and supported by PT Kwarsa Hexagon. The project aimed to achieve sustainable results through intensive cooperation, demand-driven capacity building, and the implementation of an innovative Knowledge Management System (KMS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
