Implementing Energy Efficiency during refurbishment of non-residential buildings
This assignment aims to provide technical assistance to owners and managers of private non-residential buildings to support the implementation of energy efficiency measures in refurbishment projects, as well as the introduction of energy management tools and systems to improve building operations. These activities contribute to the overall objective of the PEEM project: reducing energy consumption across 300 buildings. Through six dedicated work packages, GFA will support the improvement of the energy efficiency policy framework for the existing building sector. This includes the development of an energy efficiency implementation strategy for refurbishment projects, the identification of typical buildings and typologies within Morocco’s non-residential building stock, and a strong contribution to capacity building and awareness-raising among professionals in both the private non-residential and public building sectors.
