Support for a Municipal Energy Management Systems (MEMS) - SAGEN-4
The project will build on SAGEN 3s previous MEMS activities to (i) continue to support the municipalities that have previously worked with SAGEN in establishing municipal energy management systems, developing ambitious yet realistic Municipal Energy Efficiency Action Plans (MEEAPS), and identifying measurable energy efficiency measures; (ii) expand the scope of close collaboration to additional municipalities to be selected through a transparent and fair selection process; and (iii) develop a valuable toolbox and provide technical training materials and ad hoc capacity to lay the foundation for future replication, expansion and scale-up of such Municipal Energy Management System activities to a larger number of municipalities in the future.
